Ithaka has always put sustainability as a base of every project. We were thrilled to participate in NET ZERO CONFERENCE at the Los Angeles Convention Center, on September 15, 2022 Over the last nine years, the Net Zero Conference has brought together those who understand it takes all of us to overcome climate change. This year’s focus areas are: Carbon + Climate + Equity + ESG + Net Zero + Resilience World-class speakers from multidisciplinary backgrounds have held our conference stage. In his letter, Net Zero Conference founder Drew Shula said: “We know climate action is urgent, and we’re collectively pushing as hard as we can to get off fossil fuels (oil, coal, and natural gas) and create a zero carbon economy. While each of us is making an incredible impact via our day-to-day work, it’s so important for us to come together to share ideas, strategies, and best practices. That collaboration is key to us mitigating climate change enough to avoid exceeding the Paris 1.5°C threshold. Our goal is for the Net Zero Conference to provide education and connection within our community, make an as little impact as possible on the environment, and advocate for positive social change.” It was a great opportunity to meet 1,500+ attendees from 53 countries and 45 U.S. states spanning all industries. We are looking to the 2023 Net Zero Conference to share even more new ideas on solving climate change issues.
