On November 15, ITHAKA – Architecture and Design studio, winners of the Yerevan Architecture Biennale 2014 pan-Armenian competition received their award during a ceremony held at the National Museum-Institute of Architecture of the RA Ministry of Urban Development. Among those attending the ceremony were RA Minister of Urban Development Narek Sargsyan, Director of the Museum-Institute of Architecture Ashot Grigoryan, RA Deputy Minister of Diaspora Serzh Srapionyan and others.
The goal of the Biennale is to consolidate the potential of Armenian architects of Armenia and abroad and gather architects with creativity and scientific thinking in the fields of architecture and urban development.
The medal was granted for disseminating fine arts, painting, sculpture and drawing, achieving success in the sphere, disseminating and raising awareness of Armenian arts in the Diaspora and making great contributions to the development of Armenia-Diaspora partnership through activities.
